Here's my March page for Project 2011. The basic design was inspired by one of the April sketches from PageMaps. I must admit I am finding it a real challenge to do these 8 1/2x11 pages- they seem so small compared to my usual 12x12 layouts lol. But I guess it's a good thing to step outside your comfort zone every now and then. Anyway...I used papers from Making Memories "Vintage Findings" line & Anna Griffin's "Carolina" line. The bird and flower embellies are by The Girls Paperie. The lace came from my stash. The title is rub on letters by Close to my Heart. Journaling reads:

"1.gave up Coke & sweet tea…for the most part…2.made a new friend- she could be my long lost twin- too bad we live 13 hours apart…3.SPRING BREAK- took a much needed week off from school- lots of time spent with family & scrapping…4.started exercising more…actually that's not accurate as I really hadn't been exercising at all before so I guess I should just say I started exercising- trying to do at least 5 mi a day on Benjamin's stationary bike…5.discovered that the film “Y Tu Mamá También” is not one that you should watch with family- surprisingly I still made an 84 on my film critique after admitting I didn't watch the whole film & only listing 27 Spanish words rather than 50…6.enjoyed this beautiful spring weather & watching everything bloom until I remembered that I have horrible allergies- Spring & I have a love/hate relationship…7.officially quit the praise band- it was a tough decision, but the right one…8.started reading for my own enjoyment again- spent an entire day just lounging around reading for pleasure- haven't done that in forever & it was so nice…9.finally got our awesome antique shelf painted & put up in the scraproom…10.FINALLY got my license!!! everyone will have to find something new to nag me about now................"

The photo of me was taken the day I got my license. The photo to the right is one I took of my sheets (they're vintage & I just think they're so pretty)- taken when I was lounging around reading. And the top photo is one I just snapped in the yard one day- I thought it looked "spring-ish".

Thanks so much for looking!!!
