Here's my April page for project 2011. For this page, I used papers by K&Co. and October Afternoon. The chipboard letters are by Cosmo Cricket. The buttons, beads, lace, and flowers came from our stash- my mom actually made the flowers. They're really not that orange in real life- more of a peach color. Journaling reads:
"1. had an extremely blond moment on April 6 which (fortunately) wound up only costing $30.00 2. Celebrated my 22nd birthday- dinner with the family Sat. night, then Sun. night Mama & Daddy surprised me with dinner in ATL @ PittyPat's Porch, followed by coffee, dessert, & live jazz @ Juke Joint- it was a wonderful birthday 3. Adam & Andrea gave me an awesome owl ring + tickets to see Owl City 4. Joshua & Nichole gave me a cute new purse + other goodies 5. Benjamin gave me...nothing! what a tightwad! haha, just kidding... 6. on April 26th, got to enjoy a whole day at home by myself for the 1st time in forever- alone time is something that everyone in my family treasures (weird, I know) & something that we rarely get 7. EASTER- yes, I'm 22 & yes I still get an Easter basket- this year I got some super cute antique dishes + another apron to add to my collection 8. finally read “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”- an excellent book once you get past the first few chapters. i need to read stuff like this more. but more often than not, you'll find me reading those cheesy, fluffy romance novels. guilty pleasures, i know. 9. studied for finals- woohoo, school's almost out! 10. discovered a super cute new antique store in downtown Griffin- Weekend Treasures"
