Here's my May page for project 2011. I was a little late getting this one done since I'm taking a summer class. Finally was able to get it done last night at a crop. For this layout, I used papers by Cosmo Cricket. I cut the little bird out from one of the papers. The flowers and butterflies were made with punches. All the stitching was hand doodled. The buttons are by Close to My Heart. Journaling reads:

"1. FINALS- I was really worried about 1 of them, but I aced all 3- still have my 4.0! 2. may 4- Mama & I went to Zoo Atlanta + the Cyclorama & took Benjamin to lunch @ Mary Mac’s (yum!)- it was a nice little breather during the week of finals 3. may 6- had a girl’s night out to celebrate the last day of finals- went to see “Something Borrowed” followed by dinner @ Ruby Tuesdays- perfect way to end a long, stressful week & kick off the summer 4. may 12- got my adorable dress from ModCloth. it is perfect with the vintage purse & shoes that Grandma gave me! 5. may 14- took Andrea shopping for her birthday. got another new dress- what can I say? I’m a sucker for summer dresses. 6. helped de-clutter my Grandmother’s kitchen (while she was out of town, of course). have come to the conclusion that she’s definitely a hoarder...maybe just a mild case. seriously though, who needs 40-something empty coffee cans? she has yet to notice their absence. 7. started playing Just Dance 2 with Andrea. we try to do at least 9 songs a day. my fave so far is “Rasputin”- so much fun! 8. may 27- dusted off the old walking shoes & went 2.75 mi @ airport rd track. my legs paid for it the next day. 9. read at least 4 books just for pleasure. not many authors possess the talent of making me want to do nothing but lie in bed & read ALL day...Charlaine Harris is one talented lady. 10. may was a bit uneventful, but that’s fine with me. no worries, no stress, no drama. just savoring my 3 weeks of freedom before starting my summer class in june....."

Thanks so much for looking!!
