This pic of Ruby and Sophie is from 2007, when they were just a few months old- hard to believe they were ever that small! They weren't quite tall enough to reach the water bucket so they somehow managed to hang their heads in there, with their front feet not even touching the floor. They were so cute! For this layout, I used papers from Echo Park's "Walk in the Park" line. Lots of handstitching- did a blanket stitch around the circle and some stitching with a lighter blue on the wavy blue border. Also did a little stitching above the flags. Now I remember why I don't do handstitching as much any more- it takes forever lol! Doodling is so much faster! I cut out the flourishes by hand using chipboard by Fancy Pants as a pattern, then doodled with a Signo pen around the edges- they're supposed to look like water splashes. I used Echo Park alpha stickers and Thickers for my title. Guess that's all on this one.
