Oh, this brings back memeories of my childhood... When I was 5 or 6 years old, I used to go to a creek near our home and collect polliwogs in huge mayonnaise jars. My folks would let me keep them for a few days, but then back into the creek they would go!
Wow, there is something I haven't even thought about for...well....for....A LONG TIME. Will they change enough while she is with you for us to see more?
Reminds me of my childhood! I always loved catching these and keeping them in a container in my room...lidless of course. Once they started jumping my mom made me get rid of them.....the kids will love this! Do share their progress! =}
I hope you will share their progress with us too, would love to know if English frogs are different from American frogs. (she sounds like she will be a wonderful teacher.)
my childcare student has caught these tadpoles, feeds them on boiled lettuce and has downloaded lots of info, games and worksheets that she is going to be doing with the children in her care over the next 2 months. i am looking forward to watching them grow too!
