Always exciting, isn't it???!!!! We have a regular maternity pen that we use that works so slick when we have to pull a calf. Has a self catch head gate and a squeeze panel on one side. Guess I should post a pic of it. Then maybe that way, it will insure that our maternity pen doesn't appear in any of our calving photos being used next month!

This is a part of having newborn animals that I don't like. I've assisted mares foaling for a good many years, but I don't want to do it again. It's very traumatic! It's life and death hanging in the balance!
