I was so blessed the other day with a gift from someone. You'd have to know the whole story to know what an incredible blessing this gift is.
JOURNALING: There are gifts to rejoice in simply because of what they are. And then there are gifts to celebrate because of what it means. Every gift is special and meaningful, but this particular gift did more than jUst feed a ridiculous Starbucks addiction, it spoke volumes to an uncertain spirit. The person who bestowed this blessing on me was trying to encourage and say thank you. But the depth of the praise went further than just to say “enjoy a cup of joe” - at least it did for me. Someone took the time to observe me, to learn something new about me, to turn an observation in to an action. They found something specific to me and fed my own personal spirit and soul. Sure, it's a plastic card and cup of caffeine to some, but to me... it's a symbol that someone took the time and thought of me. And that means the world to me.
