I made this for my dear sister. She found out she's having a baby boy and I wanted to do something for her that she could keep. I made this as a wall hanging, and will fill in the rest for her when he is born. She has it in the nursery for now until that beautiful day. :o)
I got the idea for the monkey somewhere, I'm sorry I don't remember. I saw it and loved it as it was, so I'm sorry I can't give the maker their acknowledgements. Anyway, I made the monkey, cut out the tree from brown cardstock, and cut the leaves from cardstock and embossed the veins. I had the clouds that were already die-cut from vellum. I used rub-ons for the letters and drew a line with a ruler. I stamped the dragonfly on white paper and colored the wings in with stickles. It looks better in real life! I also love using googlie eyes. And, of course, I had to add my ladybug on top of the grass. The grass was a die-cut embellishment. I just used green paper that was close in the color to fill in the bottom. TFL! :o)
