So Amanda's template inspired me to document the LONG amounts of time it takes for my ds to loose/grow teeth. I work at a dentist's office so sometimes I worry about how long it takes...but Dr. assures me all is well. :) Anyway, he lost this last baby tooth on the plane on the way home from our vacation last month. He was so excited to get it home and put it under his pillow (yes, the TF still exists in our house).

Journaling: 35, 000 miles in the air you turn to me and say, “Look Mom, my tooth is loose.” I was ecstatic for you! It had been just about a year since you lost a baby tooth. Ever since you were a little baby, your teeth have been slow to come in. You didn’t get your first tooth until you were 9 months old. Perfectly normal, according to the doctor. You lost your first baby tooth when you were 6 years old. Then, at your 7 year old check up, I found it extremely humorous when your pediatrician wondered out loud why your top central incisors were so small. She wanted to have your dentist take a look at them. She didn’t realize that they were still your BABY teeth. You finally lost them at 7 1/2, but they took just about three months to grow back in! So every time you loose another tooth, it is quite the big deal around here. Now, if only you would take just as much time growing up as you do growing teeth!
