Okay...this is just another way to document one of those REALLY hard times it is to be a mother. My ds nearly drove me up a wall last week, but since a good talking to, a LOT of praying, and a few days not being allowed to play outside has really brought him around. Thankfully ;). TFL!
Journaling: There have been times when your crazy antics make me want to pull my hair out. There have been times, when I would want to be any where but here. There have been times when the thought of even picking up another toy that you left on the floor would drive me to the brink of insanity. And there have been times when I wished the word “Mo-om!” would not be uttered again. Sigh. But it’s these times in life, the really hard ones (you know, the times when I feel like putting my head in my hands and start bawling), that give me a sense of appreciation. Appreciation for every other wonderful moment in life that you give me. The morning hugs, the sweet smiles, the help with dinner every night. Those glorious moments when you fill my heart with so much love that it may very well burst. It in those every day moments that make every single trying time worth it all. Now, could I live with a few less toys on the floor or a little less whining? Of course. But do those things make me love you any less? No way, baby. Not one single bit.
