Miss J's dress for the Sr. Prom 2007
Journaling on r page says: OMG, That Dress!!! You can't imagine
how we searched for that perfect dress.
We began our search in Austin, thinking
surly we will find something she would love, but of course that was not the case.
So we spent a weekend in San Antonio.
One store after another. We Went to specialty
shops, bridal shops, department stores, but
to no avail. Finally we went to Houston to
visit Aunt Pat. We shopped for 8 hours.
And then , there it was. In a store called
Tootsie's in the Galleria area. Could
this be the one. It was a little pricey.
She hesitated because it was more than we planned to spend. But dad was ready to
buy almost anything. Believe it or not we
went to a couple of more shops, but finally we
convinced her that she should go take another
look at "That Dress". She put it on again and
that was it. The perfect dress.
I have a feeling this could be my future and unfortunately I don't have access to the huge urban shopping areas (YIKES). What to do? I love the tone of the journaling, fun but you can hear the exhaustion in it.
OMG, I'm glad that was the dress and does she look great in it to say the least!! Your Lo is very well thought and my favorite is the dress in the corner!! Great job, you should be proud!!
Very nice lo. Love the little dress drawing with the flowers. Fortunately for me my dd found her prom dress in the second store this year..yipee. love the flowers, they go well with the perfect dress...
I absolutely LOVE your layout. The flowers and paper are just perfect matches to the dress. But I must admit, when I look at it, all I see is your stunningly beautiful daughter in that amazing dress! I hope she had tons of fun at the prom, too.
