This is for JanetF's What Your Kids Say About You Challenge. Had so much fun creating this layout, well more fun doing the interview. It was tricky to fit all of this journaling on one page, without overwhelming the page. I painted on top of book pages that I first distressed with several inks and stitched onto the cardstock. After the paint dried I wrote out the journaling, which you can read below.

Journalling is questions I asked Gauge about me and his answers. Throughout the interview Gauge kept saying, “These are really tricky questions. You know I just don’t know everything. Let me guess”.
1. What is something mom always says to you? “Gauge, Thank you”
2. What makes mom happy? Saying I love you
3. What makes mom sad? Whah-whah-whah (I asked, “a lot of crying” Gauge: yeah)
4. How does your mom make you laugh? Tickle-tickle
5. What was your mom like as a child? . A little girl
6. How old is your mom? 7
7. How tall is your mom? Let me measure you, okay? It’s 20 tall
8. What is her favorite thing to do? Tickling me
9. What does your mom do when you're not around? Cook, cook, cook
10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for? Cooking
11. What is your mom really good at? Cooking
12. What is your mom not very good at? Playing dr.
13. What does your mom do for her job? Stay home and clean
14. What is your mom's favorite food? Salad, mine too
15. What makes you proud of your mom? When you’re good
16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be? Darby, because you’re a girl (she’s from Tigger and Pooh)
17. What do you and your mom do together? We play dinosaurs at night
18. How are you and your mom the same? We both like to read, because we’re the readers and we like to play with dinosaurs, okay.
19. How are you and your mom different? I’m the Incredible Hulk and you’re the Abomination (hulk characters)
20. How do you know your mom loves you? Because you tell me
21. Where is your mom's favorite place to go? The pasta place
