Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! Love that colour combo and the addition of the rose gold embossed flowers on vellum, they look fab! Your splatters always look great, when I try it (using gesso) I seem to get one big gloopy mess in one place.........I guess I have to try the spray to achieve better results.
Mixed media card: I got in new distress spray stain colors so had to try this color combo. Besides, the daughter's wall hang needed another pink note. The idea for this one was centered around a chess or checker board, hence the bishop pawn. I had these square stamps in my stash from Tuesday Technique I decided to use. I alternated squares to stamp them in and used a Tim Holtz stencil with paper paste in the empty squares. I really like the color combo. I decided to use some really skinny washi tape I had in my stash as well across the card between the blocked squares. I really like how that looked. I stamped on vellum and embossed with a rose gold embossing powder. The bishop pawn was cut out with my cricut and I stamped on it with some Tim Holtz stamps and used a stencil with texture paste to add additional texture. The only thing I wasn't happy with was how the medallion turned out. I think it is regular cardstock so the embossing faded some as I added the spray stains. I also added some embossing powder, but not thrilled how that turned out. So just added the sentiment over it to hide some of it. It works...
