Love your new wall tile! Brilliant and lush colours, I guess the clear gesso makes them even more vibrant. I am a big fan of those mushrooms! And the lovely textures, can't wait to see more of your new range!

Mixed media wall art tile-Mushrooms

I've been playing with new base mediums, something other than paper and various techniques. This was created on a gesso'ed wood panel I purchased. I used distress paints which I found worked better than the spray stains. I also sealed the colors, not that you have to do that with the distress paints, with clear gesso. I mainly did that to make sure the washi tape stayed put. Anyway, my first attempt using the paints on this medium. More to come
The mushroom stamp is from Aall and create as is the washi tape.
