John: God is Gracious

My son John in March of 1982 having fun. The quote on the side reads: "I look into your eyes and I see the greatest miracle given to me. You are the joy of every day - your smile guides my way." Shelly Howington. The hidden journaling in the envelope reads: John, Your name means God is gracious. In the dictionary Gracious means showing kindness and mercy. I believe God was gracious in giving you for me to love and then showed mercy after you were born and needed to go back to the hospital after losing 1 lb and dropping below 5 lbs. He helped you to get well so we could stay together. God also gave you the gift of graciousness, kindness and mercy that you still continue to show towards others. I love you Mom.
