Finally this is DONE! This LO actually goes just after the "Arriving in Paradise" LO and just before the "Chefette's Fast Food" one. This is the LO I was waiting on paper for forever. I finally got sick of waiting, and went with different paper. I Love the palm trees - made them myself! Used brown CS for the trunk, then I cut semi-oval-ish shapes from dark Green CS. I cut the fringe in them, but they still didn't look quite right. SO I tried something NEW! I blotted each one with chalk sponges [about 3 different colors] then blotted each with a cotton ball. WOW! I LOVE the results! Journal #1: The trip of a lifetime! #2: No day is so bad that it can't be fixed with a NAP! #3: Even though our double bed was really 2 singles pushed together, they were pretty comfortable. We kept the air conditioner cranked most of the time whether we were in the room or not. That way, when we returned from a day of sign-seeing or swimming, no matter how hot it was outside, it was comfortably cool in our room. Here Sharon relaxes after a shopping trip in Bridgetown.
