This is a little acreage in North Central Oklahoma, by Hayward (which is about 20 miles from Perry). It's where my Great Great Grandfather settled during the landrun of 1893. It is still owned by members of the Koch family. Even though there is nothing much left there---one broken down old barn; my 93 year old Grandmother has had each generation of us out there for a day of fishing and a picnic. Sometimes a Cow-patty throwing contest; but definitely a slide down the pond dam on boxes. We all enjoy it--I remember doing it with my first cousins, and aunts and uncles, and about 15 years ago we did it with my kids, now we included my grandchildren. We had a ball!!
