This is a layout of our recent trip to the aquarium in Newport, Oregon. This was originally intended for the contest (thus the products used) but I decided against it. Thank you for looking!!! Heather V.
Journaling Reads:
To celebrate our 4-year wedding anniversary, we took a day trip down the Oregon coast to Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, and our final destination of Newport. It was almost a teasing experience to get to the aquarium, as it was the longest distance to travel, however, it ended up being the main attraction of the day for us. There were very few others visiting the aquarium when we showed up and it was wonderful being able to look at everything with complete leisure. As a kid, I had come to visit Keiko when he was stationed there but even without the killer whale, there was so much to see! We had the opportunity to talk with a staff member about the fish and were also informed it was feeding day which didn't help the jitters I had of seeing the sharks exhibit! How foolish was I barely even stepping into the tunnel while kids smashed their faces up against the glass to take in every detail! Of course at the expense of no pictures, I crept in and hid behind my camera to get some incredible angles. The most highlighted event of the aquarium for us came right as we were leaving. Brian is such an animal lover and for whatever reason a sea otter took notice of him. I couldn't take pictures fast enough as those two managed to play with each other through the glass and water. It was so fascinating to watch and the best moment I'll remember that day!
