oh.. and I clicked it, to enlarge it... and I SAW your dog looking out the window. He's a big dog too and looks like his head barely fit!! hehehe!!! What a sweet sweet memory!!!
I LOVE everything you said in your description and hope that you have added it to a hidden card or something, so future generations can read of this. It's like a little story book, complete with the perfect story book house a little girl could wish for. You were definitely 'daddy's little girl' ... that is until brother came along!!! hehehe!! (my daughter was and still is 'daddy's little girl'!)
This is a truly gorgeous lo and what must be a special childhood memory for you - love all the metal details and the photos, papers chosen and embellies are just beautiful!
This is the playhouse my Father built for me when I was about 3, if you look close you can see it had flowerboxes and it's own mailbox! I think it may be nicer than the house I own now! lol! Years later he went on to build his own house (about 5,000 sq ft) and he was not even in the contruction trade, this was his hobby! I used a lot of butterflies and birds because thats what I remember most about California when I was a kid, a lot of big butterflies and hummingbirds. I cut out the Kids from some prima paper because I thought they looked like they were reading blueprints. I f you look close at the middle pic you can see my dog looking out the window! lol! Yes I was a very happy spoiled only child for about 4 years....then my Brother came along! I've added some extra close up pics of some the embellies on the page, because it really did not photograph as well as I would have liked. TFL!!!
