Scraptathlon Week #5 !! Theme: 'Object of My Affection".
Photo is of my husband as a child. I chose to use a childhood photo of him just to add a little *twist*. Plus, when we met, he seemed so sweet and shy like a kid !!

To be perfectly honest, in the beginning, John was never the object of my affection. I wasn’t looking for a boyfriend. I had had my heart ripped out after the divorce of my 10 year marriage and after finally getting my head back on straight, I was having fun. I dated quite a bit, but every guy was the same to me... overbearing, smothering, pushing a relationship and just plain going way too fast for me. Then John entered the picture. He seemed so shy, much like the picture here of him as a little boy. I honestly didn’t pay too much attention to him. But this guy was persistant. Persistant in such a way that I didn’t even know he was. He was patient, kind, thoughtful, listened to my rantings and heartbreak and looked at me like I was the most beautiful girl in the world. His persistance paid off and I fell for him... he had become the object of my affection.
