Alameda Hotel is probably the oldest standing hotel in Alameda. It is beautiful. I can see parts of it from my upstairs window and I have a framed postcard from the hotel from somewhere around 1930 in my kitchen. I love the history. I'll upload the postcard to show what it used to look like. It hasn't changed much at all, now it is apartments. I remember as a little kid I would always tell my mom I wanted to live there, that never happened but now I can look at it whenever I want to.
