This lo was made at the Crop Til You Drop Retreat in East Waterford, PA.
The tree was hand made out of cardboard.
there is hidden journaling with it.
From these photos, one would think that this was nothing but a fun day at the park playing in the leaves. Not so. We did indeed have fun playing in the leaves, but our stay was extended due to unforeseen circumstances. Being my adult ADD self, I locked BOTH sets of keys in the car this day. Fortunately, I finally was able to get Regester to come open it. But not until we had walked to Rachel's looking for Jamie and debated actually breaking the windshield. I had tried using my blackberry to look up a locksmith, but when I called the number I was put on hold for ten minutes, then hung up on. Thinking that no one local could open my type of locks, we actually walked down to the fitness trail and picked out a big sturdy rock to pitch through the window. We were parked at the library that day it was packed due to a book sale. I figured I should wait until no one was right beside me, so I stalled and asked Daddy what to do. Thank god he knew a solution. He said the window would've have been over $200 to fix. When you have 2 toddlers though, you are pretty desperate to get in your car. I think the man from Regester's pitied me because he didn't charge me.
During all this drama, Anya did something pretty funny. Her and Connor were playing on a table next to a sand box, making "sand pancakes". Connor decided to actually eat one of these, which was quite gross. Anya said "OH MY HE ATE IT!...BUT we didn't PRAY yet!". HILARIOUS!!!! So that bit of levity really made the situation better. Furthermore, we had no water to give Connor after eating the sand, and all I had was my Sheetz coffee. So I gave him what I meant to be a sip, and he guzzled almost the whole cup. Needless to say, nap time was an adventure because he was quite wired! Overall, however, the kids behaved really well. I made it an adventure for them, which is always a plus. The pictures though, look way too innocent!!!
