I still have one of my fall pumpkins. It is still alive and well and not even beginning to rot or get squishy. Too bad I am going to cut it up soon and make pumpkin muffins and bread out of it before it does begin to rot.
Kate~~ I have come to know this about you...Kindness! Even to a pumpkin that was feeling left out and forgotten!
My new years resolution...be kind to our pumpkins next year and continue including them in the festivities until their time is naturally up. :-)
And to think all this time mine have been hidden behind the "happy fall y'all" display haybales! I think I'll go out tomorrow and put them where they can be part of the nativity scene. (The animals in the manger could have been eating them!)
Mmmm pie! Run pumpkin run! na, kidding! The presents inside the pumpkin are babies for next year's pumpkin! Awesome tree, ornaments, presents and pumpkin! Hugs, Glenda
I felt sorry for my Thanksgiving pumpkin. Thanksgiving was over, but the pumpkin still had a lot of miles left on it...so it got to be part of Christmas!
