not a good idea to shovel so soon afterwards. I hope you will be ok. That $20 is money will spent. Our old neighbours (they moved in fall) would get their son to snowblow our driveway - very nice of them to do this for us. But our new neighbours don't have a snowblower, so we just shovel.
no that was not a good idea after just having surgery, and you need to behave yourself, thats alot of snow and ice. glad you found someone to do it for you.
With this lovely winter storm today we got almost 8 inches of snow, and inch of sleet, and A LOT of freezing rain!! My brilliant idea today was to go out and attempt to shovel the snow and ice. I got through my sidewalk and half way around my car and I had to stop. Everything was SO heavy that my back started to throb!! I stopped and called my dh at work to ask him if he knew of anyone who could come and plow the driveway. I am now suffering and realized that it was NOT a good idea to attemp this 6 weeks after my back surgery! Needless to say, my dh got someone to come and plow out our driveway for $20! I think that was the best $20 we ever spent!!!!
You can tell how much snow we have by looking at my mailbox!
