Hi Libby, love the way you bordered this photo. It does look very elegant. Grate picture of Jay too. It's not just the eyes, his expression is priceless.

this is so nice. i love how professional it looks and how elegant and boy does he have some gorgeous eyelashes. he's gonna be a lady killer when he grows up! nice job. :)
That is it, exactly, Janette. Have your clear embossing powder and your heat gun ready. As soon as my vellum comes out of the printer, I sprinkle the powder over the wet ink and then tap off the excess and then heat it. I started doing this because I always seem to smudge it and this prevents that. I only try this on vellum, since I think the ink probably dries too fast on cardstock.
thanks for the nice comments..

aw how precious. look at those eyelashes. i love the colors & the texture on the swirly print paper. your embossed journal block looks great. how do you do it. i've never tried this before. do you first print, than right away sprinkle the emobossing powder & heat set?

Please excuse the glare on the photo. That is from my digital camera flash, but isn't on the layout. This was a quickie, but I liked the way it came out. I thought this photo showed off my son's long eyelashes that he got from his pop-pop.
