Journaling reads: "Granny was so anxious to meet her newest granddaughter, she came out to visit right away on June 10. She spent a lot of time just holding Hyla, gazing into her face quietly & encouraging her to open her beautiful eyes. She took us, for Hyla's first outing, to Babies R Us, to buy a changing table, to match the crib that she & Bamba had bought for Hutson. Bamba wasn't able to visit until July 19, when he came to help celebrate Hutson's 9th birthday. He has such a gentle way about him when he's holding babies that Hyla spent most of her time asleep."
