The Clerk of Distincion award doesn't go to part-timers. I know because my boss wanted to nominate me last year. But this year, she didn't want to hear it. She went to the administrator and told her it wasn't fair; I worked hard and deserved it. so I answered a few uestions. The Friday before she told me I got it. I so wanted to cry, but I held it in. To be acknowledged for working hard and doing above and beyond my job description, priceles...
I got this award, and I feel so proud of myself. It's a work performance award, and to be acknowledged feels gooood.
