This is my son Sam at the botanical center last week. They had this whole little "Blue Suede Shoes" display in the blue garden, so we had to pose and be rock stars. I think he looks pretty good, although his guitar is having some problems.

Anyway, this is for the March Scraplift 101 challenge. It kind of didn't turn out like I was expecting it too-- am I the only one who sometimes feels like these things just take on a mind of their own?

Anyway, this is a lift of Dayna Howard's "Outdoors Kind of Kid" layout, which is here: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/145455/view/3073963/-1.html

I used papers from the Oakley kit here at sb.com's digital store.

Scalloped border is from the Breathe kit, also available here. And the stars around the picture came from the Noel kit.

The alpha I used for "rock star" came from freedigitalscrapbooking.com.

The star brushes used in the title and the glittery flourish brush came from obsidian dawn.

The templates for the torn crumpled circles came from www.storeide.se/gunhild/

the glitter paint scribble thing was in the Crazy Beautiful kit which I got from oscraps.com.

TFL!
