Yay Milo! My cat catches rubber hair binders for us... not sure how she finds them, but she loves attacking them :) Mouse-y probably just wanted to be warm...
My Scrachy is a hunter. Once, when she was still an outside cat, she brought this mouse in the house. Long story short, I wanted to save the mouse, but Scratchy had him cornered on the top step of the staircase in the basement. I tried to put him in a container to bring him outside, but he fell all the way down and broke his back on the cement. The poor thing was half dead and suffering... I let Scratchy kill him to put him out of his misery. I was traumatized! Scratchy became an indoor cat not long after this incident.
Nice of Milo not to hurt him. My cat caught my gerbil one time and I wasn't so lucky... my favorite cat, my favorite gerbil... I refuse to own things like that at the sametime now lol.
YAY MILO! I had a cat who caught one once in my first apartment. The carrying on went on all night long and I could not figure out what his problem was until I heard THAT squeek!! LOL. I grabbed the cat and up came the mouse - in his teeth. I freeked :) I carried cat to the garbage can and made him spit and plunk went mousie... and began RUNNING AROUND THE BOTTOM OF THE CAN!!! You've never seen a 1/2 awake young woman in undies and a night shirt run outside in the dead of night so fast in your life (with the can - dump the mouse and back in the apartment!!!) Really funny part is to get back in and find dingy cat all curled up in the bed looking at me like what is my problem raising such a racket while he's trying to sleep!!! :)
cute little mouse! we have one living outside...my kitty knows where he is. We're gonna have to catch the mouse though, because he's getting into the wall of my closet. I just need to find the humane mouse traps, and dh needs to be home (his job is to release them)
He looks HUGE! Is that your finger or your wrist there under the towel? I had to chuckle about Sally's reaction - several years ago we lived in a mobile home/trailer and used to have two adult female cats who loved to hunker down and watch the mice under our stove! Never tried to catch any, but boy, they loved watching :D
Cute shot - TFS!

OK. My house really is clean...its my attic that these guys get into. However, this guy made his way into the house and Milo kept trying to get me to go to the den with him. I went to sleep, awoke later and discovered that Milo wasn't sleeping in the room with me, that he was still in the den. as I was getting ready for work...(my work gear is in the den), i hear that unmistakable squeak squeak of a little mouse and found Milo pulling him out from his hiding place. I felt so bad for Milo when I had to let this little guy go. But I was very proud of Milo, too. AS for Sally?? well, she was absolutely clueless as to what to do...she just sniffed a little and acted like it was no big deal. Go figure.
