I had two birthday cards to do for a customer. Her son-in-law is a pilot and likes to travel. I had this paper pad about travel and when I saw these patterns I thought of Sketch #2 of the January Card Sketch Challenge. The piece with compass was actually a journaling card in the paper pack! Also for the Inspirational Card Challenge - theme - birthday.
