Lovely Shell and beautiful memory too. I have two grandchildren that live far away right now that I pray for on a daily basis. I miss them terribly but know that God is with them. I believe in the power of prayer and cherish the comfort it brings.
You worded it well, it is amazing how much a simple object can mean to us. I am glad you knew your Grandmother loved you a prayed for you, even 3,000 miles away she influenced you. That is wonderful.
What a beautiful thing to remember her by. I love my grandma to this day - she passed away more than 20 years ago but I will forever keep her in my heart.
Beautful momento to go with your beautiful memories. My grandma prayed for me every day too - I'm certain that's why I'm a Christian today...
Great take on the challenge, Hon - TFS :)

I could have photographed a lot of things for this challenge. I am VERY sentimental. But I decided on this one because it reminds me of someone who is no longer on this earth. My Grandmother had a beautiful shell collection, and when she died we all chose one to remember her by. I didn't know my Grandma very well, 3,000 miles seperated us for most of my life, but I do know that she loved me and prayed for me every day while she was on this earth. She died two months before I became pregnant with what would have been her first grandchild.
