This is a beautiful shot! I love the way the little "river bed" curves around and goes under the "bridge." Such a great eye catching photo!

I suspect that the whole thing has alot more to do with being permitted to build on adjoining land than actually protecting any wildlife, but if the "natural flow of water is being preserved perhaps it is still doing some good somewhere.

We have a similar area along side a HUGE shopping area and a major highway. I've heard all sorts of birds nest there, but I've never seen a thing but MUCKY water and big wetland weeds. Makes for a nice photo though.
