wow! That is great! That brings back very fond memories for me! My grandmother. who passed away this past August used to do a lot of canning! The wall of her basement (that went the length of her old house) was full of canned fruits and vegetables! And every Thanksgiving, she would give us all a crate full of delicious canned fruits and vegetables!
You are an amazing woman! I've never canned and neither have my parents (at least I don't think). I believe that your pantry is the size of my entire kitchen!
If I didn't know better - I'd say that was my Mom's pantry when I was growing up. She did lots of canning. My fave were the canned Bing Cherries. She'd make this terrific cold fruit soup (Plumma-mousse in German - my german spelling isn't right, I spelled it the way it sounds) It would all be canned fruit from summer - plums (hence the plumma), cherries, peaches, pears, apricots, raisins, all their juices then it's heated up, cornstarch is added and then thickened. Then it cools and is ready to eat.
stocked pantry! You can tell winter is almost gone by the amount of empty jars! This summer I will fill them all back up again. I just love seeing all that food (and hard work) sitting there waiting to be used! Makes me feel like I can acomplish things.
