This is similar to what we are doing. I hear ya' on the money part. Its a slow process, but eventually you will have what you want!

I love this too!! I once drew plans for a dream home in middle school. Yep, that long ago. The teacher kept them for show but they are still in my mind. Whenever I think of my dream home, it always comes back the same. Maybe someday.......

How exciting! My Dad had dreams of being an architect when he was in his teens, but ended up becoming a photo-journalist instead. However, he was always sketching out house plan ideas and I've inherited this from him. I would love to design our "dream home" for real, but for now, that's all it is -- a dream...
