I know how that goes! It has gotten better in the last couple years but sometimes it was so hard to stick to my guns back then--I am sure glad I did though. She kinda has a little "look" on her face doesn't she? LOL!
ooooh more power to you. I refuse to fight food with my kids. Growing up I cried through many a dinner, sometimes to the point of vomit. I just don't have the energy or interest to go through that with mine. They eat, or they don't. I give up LOL
I have a stubborn one too! I go through this with many meals with my ds, Joey! I wish that he'd grow out of it!! A trick that I figured out is that if I give him catsup with anything and everything that he doesn't like, he will eat it!!
Poor Qwennie, but the rewards of learning obedience now will pay off later. Its tough sometimes but gentle consistent firmness is a blessing that will be appreciated down the road. I've recently had some conversations with DD that warmed my heart........made all the effort worth while.
