Change has come to America One picture is Barack's step grandmother in Kenya watching.

Barack Obama elected 44th President -- the First African-American President of the United States of America
Barak Obama, senator from Illinois, shattered more than 200 years of history Tuesday night by winning election as the first African-American president of the United States. Barack's white grandmother who raised him died just one day before the election. His Indonesian mother died some years ago from Cancer. I'm sure they are smiling and are very proud.
A crowd of 125,000 people jammed Grant Park in Chicago, where Obama addressed the nation for the first time as its president-elect at midnight ET.
