I'm doing a memory book for my mom celebrating my dad's life. This will be our first Christmas without him, but going through these photos is bring back a lot of fond memories! My dad was a minister, and us 3 girls had the honor of having him give us away and perform the ceromonies (I'm on the bottom left). The quote to the left reads:
You were all lovely
in your gowns
tons of flowers
all around
There's the aisle
that you all walked down
It's been awhile
since that day
such a grand smile
when I gave you all away
But for a Father
seeing his daughters’ eyes
as she takes a husband
and to her Father says
her goodbyes
Although it's bittersweet
such a feeling of pride
watching my daughters
as Brides
