These are my living room drapes. I know, it's an odd thing to scrap, but the journaling explains it all:
Journaling says:
"Out of all the things I bought for the NEW house...the Living Room drapes were a splurge...BUT they were worth it!"

For once I bought what I wanted, not the cheapest, or because it was on sale, or because I could save money sewing drapes. For over 30 years I've tried 'to save money’ on this, that and everything. But this time, I thought I'd buy just what I wanted. And in reality, it's not nearly as much as other things I saw and priced out. But it was more than I normally would have spent. And ya know what... I LOVE them!

(I do need to change the year to 2005 and I think the title is a bit crowded, a little to close to the journaling... and in real life it is much prettier and the colors blend... I need a new scanner! Actual color of the drapes is shimmery soft sage. Anyway...here it is!)
