Page 7 - For a Happy Marriage - Mini Book

This mini album is for the #10 – 52 challenge. Note: This mini album measures 8” x 8”. Each page has 8 holes punched in (with eyelets) to be held together by ribbons. Sorry each page is separate – it was easier with the scanner this way.

I was going to give this mini album as a gift for an upcoming wedding, but my son said “aw mom, go to Target and get something they registered for.’ I thought – You know – I think I’ll do just that, and keep this for myself for now. There’s plenty of space for photos, but I have also added a bunch of ‘Suggestions for a Happy Marriage’. Please keep in mind that sometimes I have a weird sense of humor and… it kinda shows here.

I originally got the idea for this a while back, when I made an anniversary card for my sister, using some of the same quotes. But her book didn’t have places for pictures. It was more of a large 4-page card. So this time I wanted it to have places for pictures with it.

Front Cover:
Computer made quadruple heart with big LOVE and filled with little ‘love’s. Paper flowers, and loads of awesome Basic Grey Rub-ons. Also cute little clock embellishment from my local scrapbook store (unknown maker)

Page 1 and 2: Left side has stitches heart (2 papers) says: “Two Hearts Joined Together, In Love – Forever & Ever”, (for 4x6 photo). Right side heading: “Remember”. (For 4x6 photo).

Page 3 and 4. Left side says ‘Celebrate’ (for 4x6 photo). Right side has Suggestions for a Happy Marriage. Lots of sweet messages, and also some kinda sassy fun quotes. Also: “Top Ten Things NOT to Say on Your Anniversary” (see under the flap)

Page 5 and 6: Left side some more sweet thoughts and sayings and definitions, as well as some more wise cracks. Right side Frame for 5x7 photo and on side says “My Everlasting Love”.

Page 7 and 8: Left Side: “Family & Friends” has frame (for 4x6 photo). Right side “Love” with quotes and jokes.
Back cover: More quotes, definitions, chipboard flower, etc.

Products used:
Papers and a lot of the stickers are mainly ‘NRN Designs’ by Michelle Shefveland. Other paper is Basic Grey (pink distressed) and OH Baby Lilac.
Also: (lotsa) Basic Grey Wholly Cow Rub-ons, Bo Bunny Press ‘Head over heels’ stickers, Creative imaginations stickers, Beary Patch stickers, Miss Elizabeth brads, Ribbon, 7 gypsies sticker, clock – unknown, Repro paper, eyelets (?), white thread, homemade chipboard hearts, unknown hinge and metal heart, EK Success Chalk, Image Tree Alphabet stamps, Versa Color Ink (brown), Black ink, computer font, clear transparency, Making Memories ‘Defined’ stickers, Making Memories flower brads, and other items I can’t remember.
