Good morning: Taking some time to go back and look at more creations in your gallery....this is the sweetest thing I've ever seen. Love the little window with the dollys in it. Cute contrast with polka-dotted dresses and then all your little art work/paper/embellishments are in checks - - to me it's really cute. Made me laugh and fondly remember the fact that my Gramma used to make all the playclothes for my sister and me and though we're not twins (23 mos apart actually) so many of our dresses etc. matched in every way and in so many of our pics our haircuts matched as well....in the 60's - we had the short "Pixie" cuts. Anyway, I'm rambling - but thanks again for sharing this with us....it's so sweet and sentimental....and took me back to times with my sister when we were little.
Oh MAN.....this is so darn cute!! I LOVE that pic, and those papers you used from Rusty Pickle are perfect!! That little window frame with dolls in it, how cute is that!!!
love those doll embellies! My mom used to sew same dresses for my sister, myself and the neighbor girl who is still one of my best friends! It must have been a '50's thing! LOL!
This is just toooo cute! Fantastic vintage layout- those pp's are perfect with the pic! Love the design and all the cute embellies! And the pic is just adorable! TFS
This is so precious! Just love this pp combo and the whole vintage feel to this page! And no, you are not losing your mind! Hehe! I am!!! I uploaded the wrong pic, then when I tried to edit it, the whole darn thing just disappeared into electronic neverland, so I just started over!
Love the stamping and distressing in this LO...and the little dolls in the window are so cute! I looked at your sisters' dolls up close...I think they might be "Tiny Tears" dolls.....do you know? I was born in 1950, and I think every little girl in North America had one of those dolls in the early 50's! ....AWESOME LO....Patty
These 2 little cuties are my sisters Ruth & Linda (I think Linda must have taken the scissors to her hair!) in about 1950, before I was born. I think it's so cute that they have the same dresses on, probably sewn by my mother & holding their dolls. Although it looks like Ruth might be suffocating hers!! I lifted this from a scrapbook magazine but can't remember the artist. I dug into my old pp's for this one! Thanks for looking!!!!
