What a great photo to work with! I can imagine the smiles on your grand children's faces years from now going through all of your scrapbooks! Nice work!
Precious photo and such a wonderful memory! I love the grandchildren's outfits, the boys with their suspender's and your dgd with her little hands on her grandfathers! Wonderful page, Helene!
That "ancient" hexagon template really came in handy, and is back in vogue right now. See, keeping you old scrapbook supplies is a great thing!!!!! I absolutely LOVE this wonderful and touching layout! I really like that sweet photo! I love the fact that her shirt had a girly touch to it, too! Your page is amazing and beautifully scrapped!!!!!
Awwww... this is just SO Precious!! Love that roof.. great use of those very popular hexagon shapes..wonderful layering and you you couldn't have picked a better Title.... Fabulous Page!! :)
OMG How adorable is this??? That picture says so much about the relationship between your DH and the grands!! I really love all the paper you used including that wood bg. I have that, and you used it perfectly. Love the little roof too, the shapes and just the whole darn thing!!! SWEET!!!!

What a gorgeous page!!! Okay - so I know that I suck at getting around and leaving comments, but I saw your avatar and had to drop by and say hello! Love it and hope you are well :)
OMG! This is adorable!! I LOVE this, such a precious photo and you have captured the moment beautifully in this lo. The pps are just perfect and love, love, love the patchwork and 'country' patterns you've used. The little house you created is just darling. Stunning. FAVE
Hello!!! Hope you are all having a great start to your weekend! This poor quailty photo from 1999 really has such special meaning to dh & I, which is why I had to scrap it! dh worked in a logging camp in AK for many months a year & this photo was taken when 3 of the grand children were visiting! They all wore their "logging" attire with Hickory shirts..... including dgd Ashley!!! Her's was made feminine with cotton eyelet lace sewn onto the collar! Notice how Grammpa's hands are on her shoulders & hers are on Grammpa's hands! I used an ancient template for the hexagon shapes & the tag on the right of the photo pulls out with the hidden journaling. THANK YOU so very much for taking the time to visit!!!! I appreciate it more then you know!
