OK, so I know the stitching sucks, and it's a shady job but hey... that's why I'm here. To get it right. HELP The color really DOES match. It's a bad scan too or maybe just lost in the stitching but you can't see the
journaling which reads:
AH,...real food...finally!!! After six months of being exclusively breastfed, you were oh so ready for something else. Bananas with some boobie juice was your first solid meal. Five days later, you graduated to carrots which mommy made by boiling some organic carrots from Fresh Fields - only the best for you :-) - in frozen boobie juice (had lots of that stored up so all your huomemade meals were cooked with it), and running it through the food processor. Presto... homemade pureed baby carrots... cheaper and better for you than the jar variet :-0 You slurped it up!!
I never quite liked seeinhg pictures of babies with food all over their faces, but of course I changed my view when I saw your messy face. Just too darn cute. Out of all the baby food mommy made with different vegetables, carrots was your favorite. Hope that translates into good eyesight down the road :-) August 5, 2002 - six months & 5 days
The three brads at the top are really place holders for "carrots" that I haven't been able to find the right size or look. (and I've been looking forever). This was probably the only page that I started and didn't finish cause I was waiting for something. It was started eons ago and I finally decided to just chuch it and conmplete as best as I could. I was trying to get rid of those eyelets too, can you tell?? Hee hee... the idea was partly scraplifted from someone that posted here for some contest but the name elludes me at the time. Whoever you are, thanks.
Now I need help with stitching, as you can see. Thanks for sharing and looking
p.s. I just spent another 30 minutes reworking the stitching, with my bro's help, and by jove... I think I've got it!!! this one came out a LOT better and you can actually read the journaling. Still off color but oh well... I STILL need to know though cause I don't!! It was just trial and error. Thanks
