My dh and I own property in Idaho, my husband fishes snake river. Thanks for sharing this, my son loves to fish but, my dd doesn't anymore. Fishing with daddy used to be our 'getaway'...
This is soooooo striking, and meaningful. I love the coloring in the picture, and how you complemented the neat picture with just the right amount of embellishment. Great job!
amy this is FANTASTIC!!!!! love the photos in sepia, look so great with the paper you used.
what touching journaling, i have a big lump in my throat.
BEAUTIFUL girls, you look so much alike.
Omg, Amy, this is so gorgeous! I love the photo and the journaling made me sniffle. What an awesome dad you have! I'm so honored that I got to meet him. :)
What a great layout!! I think it looks great as-is!! I love the sepia photos and the junkitz paper. Are those 7 Gypsies photo turns I see?! ;) They look great Amy!!! I love the title, too!
Oh goodness---this is amazing. LOVE it. I also must say that I think it is genius you actually put a photo turn to real work, holding the frame down a bit. Using a photo turn to do photo turn business?!! Now there's a thought!!! lol - I have not yet done that!!! :) Great work, Amyter!
Love this, I truly do! The photo is awesome, the journaling so heartfelt, and I love how the bottom pic opens to reveal it. The color combo is amazing. Sounds like you got a great dad!
This is a very special lo and I really love it. the journaling is very heartfelt and I know that you cherish the time that you have with your Dad and sister. I wish you many more years together of happy fishing stories! I love how you tinted the pics and the paper is perfect.
My dad, sis and I on our annual fishing trip over July 4 weekend. I made the chipboard frame over the smaller pic.. it opens to reveal the journaling: I’ve heard it said that the greatest gift a person can give is their time… and Dad, you have always given the greatest gift. Every summer for the last four years you have taken the time to drive 5 hours to the South Fork of the Snake River in Southeastern Idaho to fish a few days with me. Sometimes it’s just the two of us, other times Todd has been there, and this year Alyse made her first trip. You spend most of the trip rowing the boat and watching as we try to catch fish (often wondering at the one that got away). But you always share in our excitement when we do get ‘em, and you’re always the first to laugh if things go wrong. I love you Dad, and am so grateful for the gift of your time.
