These are pics of my dd after marching in a parade. She had to wear the uniform home, but she didn't have to stay in "official" dress, so she didn't.

I found this ( https://www.pinterest.com/pin/217932069450973123/ ) lo on Pinterest and dearly loved the design and really wanted to lift it. When I came across these pics of dd, I knew the "wacky" design would be the perfect way to scrap the pics. I went through my 12" long scraps and cut thin pieces from pps that made me think of dd. I think I ended up making the strips 10 1/2". I made triangles using 3 strips for each triangle, then layered them onto the background. The original lo had a doily behind the pic, but I didn't have a doily in a size that would work...plus a doily wasn't quite right for the pics of dd. I cut a large circle, but it really needed some sort of texture, so I fringed the edges.
