I love every single thing on this page!!! The photo is gorgeous; your journaling is really sweet; I love the way yo worked on the circle, and the p you chose to use for it; but most of all, I think the way you managed your title is just captivating!!!! Great job, and thanks a lot for sharing!!!
Beautiful, Jasmine. I love the photo of the solitary figure in waterwings on the beach. The big circle on black c/s is great and I like your stamped title. Great job!
Cool layout. It's really eyecatching -- especially in the thumbnail, guess it's the juxtaposition of the black with the light papers. The papers really fit your picture too. Thanks for sharing.
I have to agree with the other ladies that this is truely a fantastic LO!!! I like the letters mixed up/ pushed together-looks like it was meant to be that way. Loved the circle page element and pp choices. I don't think you need to add anything but if you want to fill some of the black space around the circle, maybe smaller circles in different sizes made out of pp. They could even be frames so the black could show through. Just an idea as your LO doesn't need anything right now. It is perfect as is!!!! Into my faves!!!!
This totally rocks!!! Love the huge circle matting (can't believe it's your first) with the pps embedded inside. Love the way you did the title, both the letter i and the staggering of the rest of the letters. Love the journaling too; this is truly amazing :)
You did great! The stamping is very good! I love the way you used the BG and the way you used the circle. The journaling is great too! I know you cant change the way you did the title but if you could I think it may look good if you rounded the direction (curved) so it is not straight. Then again that may take away from the photo I'm not sure. Overall it is a great lo! Your son will treasure this lo and the journaling!
Fun use of the BG paper. The circle and desing is perfect for this picture. Great job! For stamping - try finding something that is the same size of the stamp you will be using (like maybe a quarter in this instance) and lay them out first so you can see if you have enough room for all the letters in your word. Just an idea.
I tried simple, still came out a bit complex. LOL! That's just me! I'm not that good at stamping, I guess i need to move up the "i" a little coz it's somewhat cramped. First time for me to use a white pen and it kinda sucked coz I had to write "the art of being" like 20 times I think! This is also my first time to use a circle in a paper page. I've always wanted to try those curves. And lastly, first time to use black cs as background. I guess I incorporated a lot of my firsts in this page. For the "i", I cut the outline of the monogram and placed pp underneath.
Anyway, there's hidden journaling underneath:
Since you were a baby, you loved staring at patterns and designs you see in your crib, in our bed, in practically every place you see. We’ve always remarked how intelligent you must be as you seem to analyze every single detail.
When you started to walk and learned how to explore and play with other kids, your art of introspection seemed to fade. But it always resurfaces somehow, just like this photo I took of you in the beach.
I wonder. . . what does a child your age actually think about? When you’re looking at the waves crashing to the shore, do you think about its beauty? Or perhaps what lies beneath those waves? Are you thinking about why there are waves in the ocean?
At times like this when I try to talk to you, you don’t respond right away as you are so deep in thought. I guess until you are older, that is something I will always wonder about.
