WOW! this is elegant!!! i love the embossed border, and no, i don't see the need for you to chalk it to darken--- it's perfect the way it is! :) the metal photo corners give more depth to the page! the scalloped edges with the scalloped lace is just BEAUTIFUL! and oh, the stamps look fabulous! love this, Jasmine! ;)
I really love the embossing and the scalloped edges! I think the red color of the cs will be okay if you don't see it right next to a page that is more burgandy. but if it is opposite a more burgundy page I might darken it.
I think darkening the red would be a good idea. It think it would give it a bit more vintage feel to match that of your other pages. You were a beautiful bride!!
This is so lovely!!! Love the colors you used; the awesome flowers; and the details in the matting and photo corners. I think I would darken the color a bit too; beautiful lo :)
Jasmine, this made me smile!! I LOVE the white on black stamping, the color combination, and that photo! The scalloping and embossing is a beautiful touch. I'm truly enjoying your wedding LOs!
I love the color theme you have established for this album, red, black, and cream. There is the dignitiy of the occasion, but it is mixed with the playful polka dots. Your photo corner embellishments are excellent, very rich. I think what I like best is your stamp embellishments. You have used the stamps skillfully. No, you don't need to change the burgundy of the stamp. It is a nice spark against the black background and reflects the color of the border well.
Those are fantastic stamps! I love how your scalloped paper strips echo that beautiful lace. I might darken up the red cs a bit more...make it more antiqued to go with the feel of the page. You did great, though! I love it!
I love Technique Tuesday and Rhonna Farrer too! I used their stamps for the flowers! I think the red cs isn't burgundy enough for me--you think I should chalk it to make it darker?
