I agree with everyone, maybe you could use the same blue cs in the corner and put vellum over it with the brads and have who's recipe this is
"By Grandma----"
I really like how you inked the recipe card! I agree it needs something under the picture....do you have a small picture of the finished product? that would look great there mounted on some cs...Or maybe even a picture of your Grandma? It looks great tho and I love the colors you've used!
Okay I am getting seriously fed up with my comments not showing up ---
What i said was I like the color and the title (font and size) I like the lack of pp and think the bottom corner pocket could have 3 small strips of different ribbons in the blue/brown family attached with brads at the papers edge.
Really I think this lo has great composition and flow (while I like the pic - it kinda freaks me out a little LOL ) Nice job :)
your distressing on the recipe is beautiful, but I do feel the bottom needs something. a strip of the blue could be your most simple solution or some embelishment in a line would still keep the simple feel and focus on that great photo.
wow! I love these colors...and the idea of scrapping a recipe! that is so cool! I agree that there needs to be a little something under the picture...some pp would be nice but shouldn't be too busy...otherwise it may take away from your picture. attaching with brads to match the title square would help tie it in. I really like how the recipe runs from top to bottom. nice work!
I like the way you did the title on vellum. I would do something to fill that space too. Maybe some thin strips of patterned paper inked and attached with brads. Your Grandma's bread looks delish.
Very hip color combination :-) I'd do something to fill the space under the picture. Maybe some PP with browns and blues, with some brads? It's fun to see a layout featuring something other than people.
