After three days of trap being placed on the roof to my back hall, We got ourselves the little culprit who took up residency between floors of our home. He found a removed facia board underneath the extended roof line above my first floor windows. So he was literally between the downstairs and upstairs. I could hear him as I sat at the computer!! He was right above my head. I saw one day white fluffy stuff falling outside the windows and by the time I got to the backdoor to look I found a squirrel sitting right on the edge of the roof extension over my set of windows. Little bugger LOL !!!
