Entered into the K & Company Challenge. I used K & Company Blue Awning Collection for the pp's, Rub-on and chipboard flourishes (which were cut from chipboard frames) also K & Company. Added pearl stones to top of rub-on. PP's were stamp-cut, then distresses with Tim Holtz Black Soot Ink.Flourishes on pic frame and journaling card had glitter glue added at end of swirls, The journaling card and Title board were hand made and distressed. Journaling card was burned around the edges and is "popped up" to mimic wind in the sails. The Title plaque was made from cardboard, edges fancyfully-cut then it was painted brown and further distressed with Black Soot and yellow ink from Ink Dots. Holes were punched and twine was tied in. Journaling reads; Tall Ships Promenade, Newport, R.I. July 2, 2007 Beautiful sunny day spent with good friends and daughter on the waves of Narragansett Bay in Newport, R.I. Ships of yesteryear and half a world away came together for a parade of beauty and majestic stature. Bountiful billowing sails filled the sky. Hardened crews worked her decks. Many people watched in awe. Flags of many nations caught the wind's gale...a great time for all...J. Noons TFL!! :)
