This is a photo of my Mom, Chris my brother and me holding my beloved cat Baby. I remember this day like it was yesterday. I insisted on holding my cat Baby. I got my way by making silly faces for the photographer. LOL! This was taken in 1965. My mom was 37. Chris was 6 and I was 8. What's with the hairstyle??? I remember taking scissors to my bangs, but I think I cut them a lot shorter! LOL!
So anyway I tried for a vintage look! Still am afraid to tear paper...... but if you look close by clicking one more time you can see inking!
Yay.... I inked Doreen! I did use my deckle scissors, does that count for tearing? LOL!
I used pearls cuz that was my Mom's favorite... she was born in June.
Martha Stewart punch was used to scallop two strips on the side. I made a tiny file folder for hidden journaling and slipped it behind the top paper. Used lace and attached a bunch of do dads. I really like the Basic Grey brad on the clock.....it's a little cherub. Oh and I used my Cuttlebug for the flower stem.
Thank you Doreen for inspiring me :-) IT IS FINISHED! LOL!
Don't want to admit it but...... this is my 7th lay out in 1 1/2 years! :-/
